Right now: The H.D. Youth Center has been severely flooded and simply, is no longer available to the community to feed the homeless and provide a safe place for children to come. We still welcome donations now more than ever: Please look for the H.D. Newsletter around September 15 as so much has happened that has forced us to temporarily suspend so many programs that were to be published in the H.D. Newsletter. Hot Breakfasts TBA A free, hearty breakfast is served by volunteers to the homeless and those in need each Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. Doors open at 5:45 a.m. All ages are welcomed. Annual Events TBA This year's Adventureland trip has been canceled and all the proceeds from the Linn County Blues Society's efforts at the 2008 Chili Challenge has been diverted to the much needed Back To School Supplies program offered by the H.D. Youth Center. More information will be available here later as we decide how to proceed after such historic devastation to our community.
