Back to School/Fun Day Rescheduled

Just in time for the start of school in the fall, free school supplies are provided to all children. Refreshments and entertainment are provided to all who attend.
This year's prgram will be held at The Van Vechten Park on August 23.
Be prepared for pre-registration. Watch for The Milestone on July 6 & 13 issues.

Hot Breakfasts TBA

A free, hearty breakfast is served by volunteers to the homeless and those in need each Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. Doors open at 5:45 a.m. All ages are welcomed.

This year's Adventureland trip has been canceled and all the proceeds from the Linn County Blues Society's efforts at the 2008 Chili Challenge has been diverted to the much needed Back To School Supplies program offered by the H.D. Youth Center. More information will be available here later as we decide how to proceed after such historic devastation to our community. Please visit this site often as we will be rescheduling meals and events as soon as possible.
